On April 7th Kaydan O’Brien made his arrival. This baby’s birth is particularly exciting because I am his Auntie Em. I’m lucky enough to be staying with my boyfriend’s family throughout this pandemic which means I get a lot of baby cuddles. I also get to take a lot of photos of him & his family. Although he is only about a week old, he is already so loved.
Here are a few of the images I took of this sweet little blessing. These were taken in the living room using the following:
Posing pillows/nursing pillow for the main support
Blankets to stuff the basket and prop up the baby extra if needed
A wooden crate
A vinyl floordrop purchased from amazon
Fabric purchased from fabricland for a backdrop, basket stuffers and wraps (blankets will work as well)
The couch
Window light
Mom & Grandma as spotters/assistants (safety first!)
Extra props if wanted (we used a stuffed animal and sign)
